From now, it's the real thing!

Survived 2 days of orientation. I don't know... I really can't imagine how it's going to be like in class. Hope everything turns out well, though.
Yeah, basically I got my timetable, a list of books and stationary (which I bought most of them today at the book shop), and guides to clubs and events. My, there are over 200 clubs here! Some really cool ones that I'm eyeing on are Street Funk, sort of a hip-hop dance club, Capoeira, a form of breakdance-like martial arts, and archery! There are still so many more that I've not looked into. The cost is kinda high though... So we'll see.
There was a campus tour today, too. Though I've already seen most of the things walking around with my brother. There's something really cool, though. Every 2 weeks, there is a party at a building called the "Roundhouse". It's an above-eighteen party. Gosh, I'm so curious how it's like. One more month to go and I'll be able to check it out!
Other than that, well, I'm just getting used to the campus area. Classes begin next week. Man, I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Students are divided into groups according to their stream. Within each stream, they are divided further into even smaller group. So far, I only know there are two guys in my group. Me and another guy whom I'm not really sure of the name yet. Hahaha, man ,the odds...

Sweet bread...

Had quite an experience in Sydney today!
Ok, before I tell you what happened, tomorrow is my long-awaited orientation! 10.30-11.15 in the morning! Phew, thought it'd be earlier. Good thing it isn't, I don't wanna be waking up so early just yet!
Went through my brother's used things just now.(Think I never told you guys, but my second brother, Thana, has gone back to continue his studies in Thailand.) Found a laptop and a GBA SP!!!!!!!!! Too bad the laptop has a serious problem with the hard drive or something and is absolutely useless. But....GBA SP....with "Golden Sun" and "FF Tactics!"...My other brother, Nithi, got himself the "Star Wars' PC game or something. LOL, is this sibling robbery or what?
Here's something interesting, we went to this restaurant overlooking the Opera House. It's really the first time I see that thing. It's awesome, though not as nice as in pictures...Haha...Anyway, I ordered this beef thing with "Sweet Bread", not really knowing what it is. Guess what? It actually is cow's freaking brain! OMG OMG OMG! Yeah, damn sick. I ate just a little bit of it and passed the rest to my dad and brother. It tasted slimy and oily and....yuck!
Oh, and my brother told me this joke...Just wanna share with you all. Apparently, his Indian friend was at the airport. He ordered a cup of coffee. His specification was "long, black". The girl at the counter commented, "I'm sure it's pretty long..." LOL, sick... (For those who don't know, it's supposed to be "Tall, black")
Anyway...(Ping style), my dad and my aunt are leaving tomorrow. So officially my adventure begins tomorrow, too. Haha!

Too tired

Hey everyone, thanks for all the support! Haha, gosh I'm hearing police siren again. My brother told me I'll hear it everyday...either this or the fire engine!
Got home a while ago. My father, brother, aunt and I went for dinner at the Korean restaurant again! Yep, JJH was there! Man, I felt really weird today. Actually it's only after drinking some Shoyu, or something. I didn't drink much, but guess today's the kind of day where your body can't take much alcohol. Anyway, half-way through the meal, The next table starting singing birthday song. Apparently, they were celebrating someone's special day. Gosh, I was damn sure it was the Uni students. You know what came into my mind next? I thought of you guys again, haha. Shit, then after that I got so lost in thoughts. Sigh...
Anyway, life's like this, eh? Still so many more things to say, my Australian education... but I'm just too shagged (LOL) to blog it. See ya!

A new life, in Aus!

Ok it's Sunday now. I arrived in Sydney in the morning on Saturday, but was too busy. Most importantly it was only just now that my brother set up the internet for this com.
Anyway, starting from the plane journey. It was an overnight flight and while everyone was sleeping, I couldn't sleep! Maybe I did for about twenty minutes, but other than that I was fully awake all the while. They showed "After the Sunset" and "Finding Neverland" (hey , Ping) on the plane. I got to watch them until they stopped playing anything on the screen from about 2.00am to 5.00am....
When I got to the house here, got to admit that I kinda like it alot. It's a small apartment, but more than enough for two occupants. The place's still empty. We went to IKEA to buy the furnitures which included things like Dining table, bed, lamp and pillows etc. They are supposed to be arriving anytime soon. But gosh, the delivery fee was damn expensive! $70...!
Talk about the location of my place. It's got a great view! The downside of the place is probably that it's facing the main street, so any unwanted noises can be heard quite clearly. Also, my brother told me that the area is particularly prone to robbery coz many foreign students live around here. Anyway, other than those things there's no other drawback to the place at the moment! The area is full of small shops providing most of the things I want. Stationery stores, photocopying services, food, movie rentals etc. It's going to be pretty! Also, 5 minutes walk to the left of my place will bring me to my school! Hahaha, just imagine how late I can wake up in the morning!
Oh, I'm learning more and more facts about this place too. One thing I can't stand about the bus service is that, everytime a passenger boards, the fare is paid to the driver who'll issue a recipt and change (if needed). So it's kinda like a Supermarket scenario, where you buy things and have to wait for them to print the recipt. Haha, there's supposed to be a bus card or something, but I just don't see many people using it.
Here's something more interesting. Last night at about 2.00am my brother, his friend(GF??), and I went to a convernience store in gas station opposite my house. The place was open though it didn't let any customer in. Instead it operated on a drive-thru system whereby you just stand outside and order to the person INSIDE, all the while separated by a glass panel with one small slot to place your money. The shpkeeper will then deliver your items by putting it in a metal box which can be opened by both the people inside and outside the shop. Strange.... But my brother said it was safety precaution, in case of robbery and stuff.
Seems like there are still so many things to be learnt! But so far things seem well...!!! ^______^

My Confessions... :P

Please note that by the time I update my blog again, it'll mean that I'm already in Sydney.
Having said that, yeah... I'm busy packing now as I'm typing this out. Felt like it was just yesterday that I packed my bag and left S'pore. Here, I am doing it again. Of course, it's bs! I mean, 4 months of holiday is definitely more than enough. Guess it's finally time to move on to something else.
Though I've been complaining about wanting to start school as soon as possible, I can't help but feel like there are still so many things to be done here. Like unfinished business, you know. Anyway, it's too late for thoughts like that now. Sigh, I hate taking aeroplane! Haha...
I'll be flying with my father and my aunt. Honestly I'm really glad that they'll be flying together with me. Guess, it just makes me feel more secure that way. Damn, I'm almost 18 for crying out loud! Haha...
Haiz, there'll be so many things to adapt to there! During the first month I'm sure it's gonna be strange for me... New environment, new faces, new "In" things, haha! The only comfort I can find right now is probably the fact that the place is full of Asians! Haha, so it's not like I'm gonna be any different! Sigh, I'm really really nervous!
Orientation is next Wednesday, and that'll be like ..."THE day", you know.
So yeah, best of luck to myself....!!!!! ^____________________^

Watched "The Ring 2" yesterday. Kind of a disappointment, haha. The story didn't really make much sense and there's just not enough shock value. LOL, sigh, really wanna watch "The Eye 10" but it'll only open the week after I leave. Awwww.....
Oh by the way, the lastest issue of Golf Digest Mag just came out the other day! Haha... Oh man, it was so funny! Dan I'll send one to you as soon as possible!

Count down to THE Meeting......

I can never change you
I don't wanna blame you
Baby, you don't have to take the fall
Hmmm... Ok I got to admit that I've been very lazy when it comes to blogging lately.
Yesterday was my last Math lesson, the teacher gave me a test too. It was horrible, haha. I didn't revise and I forgot most of the methods needed to solve the sums. Damn the stupid Calculus! Haha, but I hope after all these lessons, I will be able to cope better with the syllabus in my Foundation year! Good Luck to myself!
Oh, today I learned a very strange technique in my singing lesson today. Ok, everyone stretch out your arms forward and place your palms on a wall. With one leg in front of the other, push the wall...always keep your arms straight. You'll notice that much of the strength comes from the legs. My teacher said that this is also true with singing, he then asked me to sing in that position LOL! When hitting high notes, push harder still! I felt like being punished, haha -_-"....... My teacher said he had to practise that for about half a year before it becomes automatic. :S
So yeah, just an interesting fact to share, and a slightly better idea of what I do at home, too.... LOL

Got it...

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of, I'll never ask for more than you love
Oooh, it's been quite a while since I checked on this blog and everything. So many comments on the chatterbox that I had to trace the history just to see what went on, haha.
Anyway, Friday night huh? Ok it's on....
Actually I really have nothing to blog today, I didn't even plan on doing so at first too. Somehow, though, I'm typing this out...wierdo, haha.
Oh, and thanks you all for giving in suggestions on the songs. Haha, but too bad I wasn't accessible to the net until just now. So I already picked out a song earlier in the evening when I had my lesson. It's "Nothing's gonna change my love for you". Haha.... it's quite a challenge with all the varying pitches, but I'm just gonna try it out.

Any idea?

Ok this post is actually meant to be up since yesterday, but I was too lazy to blog till now. -_-"
Not many mention-worthy things to say, actually. :( Maybe except last night, we went out to celebrate my elder brother's birthday. At the restaurant, the table next to ours, there were five caucasian adults sitting there. Four guys and one girl... they were talking so damn loudly and I ended up listening to, more like eavesdropping on, their conversation. It was pretty funny. The woman talked the most and she swore a lot, probably thinking that not many people would understand her. Their topics included things like boob-job and oversized bra cups... LOL! It was really hilarious but at the same time full of heart. My guess is that they were friends since young, coz there were times when nicknames of third parties were brought up and they'd laugh about it. I mean, it kinda remind me of what we used to do, haha, name-calling and stuff! At the same time, I imagine us being all grown up like that and we'd sit at a table to talk about old times.... LOL, I feel like an old man. Hahaha, but that's just a thought...
Anyway, I need help from you guys on this one. The thing is, my singing teacher is suggesting that I pick an English song for class pratice. This is to replace my current thai song as I have too much trouble trying to pronounce the words. LOL, it's not entirely because I sucked, but as my teacher would agree, Thai songs are very picky when it comes to pronounciation. There are words that can't be dragged for too long, words that can't be pronounced to quickly....and blah blah blah. So yeah, I need suggestions on what song to choose! :S
A moderately fast (Not too fast though, and definitely not slow) song, preferably sung by a guy and if possible, famous and well-known.... hahaha, because in Thailand, selections of English songs are quite few :(
Anyway, thanks in advance!

ME as a DICE!

I am a d12

Take the quiz at dicepool.com

You are the rare, the overlooked, yet incredibly useful dodecahedron: the d12. You are a creative, romantic soul. You often act without thinking, but make up for your lack of plans with plenty of heart. You easily solve problems that stump others, but your answers tend to put you into even deeper trouble. You write long, detailed backgrounds for all your characters, and are most likely to dress up as one or get involved in cos-play. You can be silly at times and are easily distracted by your own day dreams, but are at the end of the day you're someone who can be depended on.

An end to time-out

Hey everyone, finally I'm back. Decided to take a time-out from this whole bloggy business... Also because there wasn't much to blog about the past few days, well, maybe weeks. I'm just hoping that the break will make blogging more interesting somehow. ^_____^
Anyway, latest update on what happened during the week. SOOOOOOOOO many stupid things!
On Monday, I went for a health check up, it's a requirement before making the Australian Visa. What happened was that at one stage, I was supposed to undergo an X-ray to check my lungs. According to the procedure, I was told to breathe in as much as possible and hold it there. Apparently, I ddin't breathe in enough and the X-ray was unsuccessful. In the end, while I was waiting in the other room, the nurse asked me to go back and re-do it again. LOL... damn dumb....
Yesterday, I went to get my Visa. The place was so crowded that I ended up having to wait for hours. Luckily, I went with someone who helped me with the imigration stuff. We waited for about 2 hours and that's when I nedded to leave for my singing lesson. So I left..... About an hour later, the person called me and told me that there was an error in my signature. The thing was, the singnature in my passport and the ones in the Visa forms were different. -_-" So I had to go back there again this morning...waited for another hour just to hand in the forms with the correct signatures! The whole check lasted for at most 10 minutes.... Stupid mistake, huh?
Oh yeah, during the singing lesson yesterday (after I rushed from the Visa office), I was so hungry coz I didn't have time to eat anything. I barely drank, too! So while singing, my stomach growled so damn loudly.... LOL..... Both my teacher and I had to stop and laugh, you know! It was so embarrassing....
Hahaha, that's more or less about it, I guess. Anyway, later I'm gonna go and practise driving, hehe. And after that I'm going to see a doctor about my migraine stuff. I know I mentioned it so long ago, and finally I'm doing something about it.

My EXP

I was too lazy to blog anything yesterday, haha. So here it is.
About the photoshoot thingy, it's not actually as formal as it sounds. LOL, but it was really great, though somewhat tiring too. Being a golf magazine, the pictures wer taken while I 'pretended' to play golf. LOL. Later, I even have to pretend to use the stupid sun block lotion too. It was damn sticky. Hahaha. The interview was damn weird. A voice recorder was used, and I was told that I can say anything in response. The person in charge will do the editting and in a way, put words into my mouth. Hhahaa. So yeah, that's about it.
This morning I was supposed to have a math class, but lucky me, the teacher cancelled it! Yippee~~~~!! So yeah, slacking off till my singing class at noon! Which reminds me, my stomach hurts... more like sore from singing. LOL
You know, I'm gonna need to change a lot of things about me now. I mean, you guys would remember how my English has Thai accent in the mix? Here, my singing teacher always have to prompt me to pronounce THAI words properly as I tend to have English influence on the words. Moreover, now that I'm reading a Thai story book, I find it pretty difficult coz it has no comma or fullstop whatsoever. So it's pretty hard for me to make head or tail of a sentence. So yeah, feeling like I'm caught in the middle. Soon, when I get to Australia, I'll have to battle Aussie accent with my Singlish-Thai English! So after a year, it'll be Singlish+Thai--Ausie accent. And when I come back to Thailand to work, I'll be speaking Thai with Aussie+Singlish influences. So instead of being caught in the middle, I'll be in a triangle!~~~ Oh man, the thought gives me a headache, hahhaa.

PS: The paragraph sounds like I'm trying to prove an equation or something!

Lookin' Good !

Hey hey... I'm feeling so happy again today! Don't know why, but it seems like good things are coming my way (well, mostly anyway). I have been officially accepted to UNSW's Standard Program. Got into the course that I want, too. ^____^
Who would have thought that singing lesson would be so tiring!?!?! Hahaha, it was a really great class. Friendly teacher = fun lesson! Yep, but I was so beat after. During the lesson, I was sweating! Haha, but the teacher told me that it's a common thing. Phew~~ Anyway, I'm so looking forward to the next lesson! Yay!
Oh yeah, I've just been informed that tomorrow is my photoshoot thingy! OMG I'm so nervous! My uncle told me to wear attire appropriate for playing golf, yet sporty. LOL... I hate wearing golf attire! Hahaha, no jeans allowed and I'd likely need to wear my dorky golf shoes too! Hope everything turns out well tomorrow... It's like around ten in the morning and will probably take at least half an hour to finish.
The stupidest things are: 1) I just cut my hair! I'm still getting used to it, but the previous one is much better! (Ok I'm vain, so sue me!) 2) Just yesterday a pimple just popped up in the middle of my forehead! LOL, I've not been getting any for so long and now, of all the time in the world, this !..... LOL, Luckily I still have my hair to cover it! Can't believe my luck, hahaha!

The surprisest Surprising Surpriser of all time!

OMFG!!~~ You'll never guess what just happened only a few minutes ago! My uncle, who works for the Golf Digest Magazine, just called me. He said one of the magazine's editor (whom I met during my recent trip to Chiang Mai) recommended to him that he get me to be a presenter for some sun-block ad that will appear in the mag! Apparently, they are looking for a presenter and somehow she just wants me to try...I think. Anyhow, IT"S A REAL SURPRISE! My uncle said maybe around next week, I'll have to do photoshoots and an interview.....
I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO SAY!

Enlightenment

Haha, it's so weird to be saying this, but I just signed up for a vocal course not too long ago. I really don't know what got into me, but I just feel interested in trying it out, haha. It's a crash course, really, and I managed to cram one term (12 lessons) into less than 3 weeks. Time constraint, you see. I have to try and finish it by mid March. Anyway, it will start tomorrow. LOL, can't wait to see how it'll turn out!
I also just talked to Palakorn's mom (my aunt). As usual, I feel much better about a lot of things now. She's a real angel, haha. She made me realise how lucky I am. I mean, I have a family that provides me with a reliable financial support and a family business that secures me a work place in the future too! Especially now that I'm going to do architecture in the University, I'll sure be able to contribute to the business next time when I start working. The only thing that can go wrong is probably myself. As long as I work hard and don't screw up, almost many other things are already there for me. So right now I'm feeling sooooo stupid for whining about my responsibilities to the family business before. What was wrong with me, haha. All the things I thought were a burden are actually the things that will help my ass! I'm so glad I finally come to this realisation. It makes me look at things at a totally different perspective. Thanks my aunt so very much!
So I say, I shall be fulfilling my duties first (Study hard so as to make sure that I can continue the work of my father and grandfather) before doing other things of my own interests. I just owe them way too much!

Survived D-Day!

~CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE~
Finally the day has arrived! Everything seems ok, too. Nobody did badly or anything, right? Haha, of course I'm quite satisfied with my results too, even though I got as high as 19! (Comparing to yours, that's it!). Blame it on my A maths which earned me an E8! Haha! If I take the paper again right now, I'm sure I would do better! Haha!
Here's my result: Eng-B3, E Lit-B3, Sci-A1, Humans-A2, E maths-A2 and of course A maths-E8. Chi B is a PASS of course!
So yeah, that's the coverage. Hope everyone is happy with their result! I'm so glad that we all passed this point. The waiting was horrible! So from now on it'll be a different story for all of us huh? I hope the result I got will be enough to get me to where I want to be. Haha!
Anyway I want to share a story with all of you. One fine day, I was on a vacation in Chiang Mai. Suddenly my phone rang. "Private Number" was shown on the screen. I picked up the phone, of course. I greeted with a 'hello' as usual. By way of reply, the caller repeated the word back to me. So I said 'hello' again and sure enough the same thing happened. The cycle went on and on for roughly 14 seconds! Out of irritation, I hung up, thinking that the caller couldn't hear me. I couldn't help thinking that the voice was familiar (Too familiar).
The caller was, as I later found out, none other than the stupid Dan. Hahaha! Yeah, he called from all the way from Canada! You should've said something, man! The stupidest thing was, both of us thought the other party couldn't hear, when actually it was perfectly fine! LOL

Back (wow)

Don't lost your way
With each passing day
You've come so far
Don't throw it away
So I just got home last night. It was an ok trip, nothing special. So I don't think I wanna pot anything about it here. (Lazy)
Instead I can't stop thinking about today. D-DAY! For the past two nights I couldn't sleep because I kept calculating the possible outcomes in my head. So before I see the real thing, I just wanna say that if I could go back and do it again, I freaking would. Anyway as you all already know, I won't be there to collect it myself. My guardian is going to do the job for me and fax it over. OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO SCARY!
Anyway I won't be at home again until tomorrow. Gonna stay over at Palakorn's place. This blog is really short... but I guess there'll be more to talk about when the results are out. So, till then! Oh no I can't stop thinking about the 'O's!!!!!

Going to be travelling again

Had my last golf lesson today. Just when I start to put my heart and soul into the sport, it's over. Haha, seems like that's always been the case with me. Never know what I've got till it's gone. Haha.
Anyway there's this Thai song that I can't get it out of my head. The meaning is really great and I'd like to share with you guys. I tried my best to summarise and translate the meaning in order to post it hear. The title can be roughly translated as "That piece of Rock". The song talks about whatever we feel, it ultimately comes down to our own actions. Hold a piece of rock in your palm and cleched it into a fist as hard as you can. It definitely hurts, but whose fault is it? The rock or you? Now that you know, what are you going to do with that piece of rock? Are you still going to keep it, or are you going to throw it away as far as you can? There's nothing and no one that can hurt you as long as you don't accept and bother. You have to realise, to whom does your life belong to? When someone hurts you, it's because you willingly recieve the burden upon yourself.
Ok, the consept is definitely nothing original. Nothing can hurt you without your consent, the phrase itself sums up everything. The imagery in interesting though. The small piece of rock being the burden and hurt and how we hurt ourselves by squeezing it too hard. No matter what we do, the problem is always present, it's just jow we deal with it. Like in this case, we should just throw it away as far as possible.
So yeah, that's about. Not sure if you like it as much as I do, hahaha, excuse my translation for now I'm not strong in both languages!
Anyway, I'll be going off to Chiang Rai tomorrow. My father is going with some association or organisation...or whatever, I'm not really sure. He's bringing us along. It'll be a nice change, I hope. Heard the weather is suppose to be quite fine there, different from the heat in this area now.

For the third time, I'm busted

Just got home from a golf lesson that we didn't have. Yeah, we waited for close to half an hour and still the teacher ddin't turn up. When I called and asked, I was told that there was no appointment for today. Haha, it's my father who told them he would confirm the time for today's lesson. Somehow he forgot about it and didn't. My teacher just assumed that we didn't want any lesson today. So yeah, had a great car trip! -_-"
I wouldn't wake up so early If I had known this would happen. Though I'm not really tired of sleepy, right now my head feels weird. Probably coz I was drinking last night during a karaoke session. LOL, don't think I'd be doing that for a while.
There's just something I don't really understand at this point in time though. Honestly I don't really want to mention it like this coz if I did I'd surely create some tension among ourselves but the more I think about it the more I don't see why I should be the only one keeping it locked up. I'm just wondering why more and more comments that are negatively directed at others are being posted?

Backy back

How does one exhibit growth....
yet stay true to oneself at the same time?
Hmph, it's been way too long since I last visited this page!! Blame it on the stupid internet connection I'm using... I could never stay connected for more than five minutes! I couldn't even use my msn. Ever since the new version came out, I was forced to download it upon signing in. True enough, the constant auto-disconnection didn't allow me to finish the downloading every time I tried. Basically, i haven't been using much internet at all for a while. Felt so cut off from the outside world..!!!!!
Everything is QUITE fine now though, hahaha, and here's the proof for that. Finally got the latest msn thingy, though something seems to be missing. Anyway I'm happy enough to have an access to it again, though!
My eldest brother, Nithi, missed his flight to Australia yesterday! Haha, it was so funny. The thing was, he told everyone that his flight was at 7.30 pm. So we decided to leave for the airport at 5. When we were about to leave, however, he checked his ticket again and realised that it said 5.30 pm! LOL. There was no way we could get him there in time....luckily he got another flight on Wednesday morning instead. *Phew*
Oh yeah, since today's a special occasion, I want to dedicate this to someone:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU---HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU---HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CAROL---HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
Make a wish!
